There is a fine line between watering your grass to keep it from dying, and drying it out so I don't have to mow it.
Since I don't have a lawn mower right now, my ideal lawn would be dead, yet green.
I think I will get a can of paint from the hardware store.

I figure if it dies, or is overgrown, it's not our fault. We didn't move the close back 2 weeks. :-)
