Priesthood

Sitting here in my scrubs, I just got off work. This will be one of the first priesthood sessions I have attended in years! Glad I can attend, but missing my dad.

Wish I had a white shirt!

Gokart

Eli helped me get uncle Jesse's gokart fixed. We did it to surprise mom and uncle Clint.

We are not really sure how to spell gokart.

6hp Briggs Stratton engine

Half way through the project, Eli informed me it was boring. He went and played in the sprinkler.

I remember a story about a little red hen and making bread... But I let Eli ride with me anyway!

Sick

So this blog is kinda my journal. I got the stomach bug. Not sure if I got it from work (probably) or from my donut shop. I have had liquid coming out my body from both ends quicker than I could replace it. And I still had to work.

I downed Motrin, Tylenol, and was given zofran. I made it through most my shift. (insert joke on misspelling of "shift") the nurses were good enough to start an iv. Here is my fluid replacement.

I still felt really sick, but I didn't feel like passing out any more.

I have a great deal more empathy for people right now.

Zofran should be on the water

Fun times at home.

Eli and Emmy went to the pediatrician. Both in 90th percentile for height and weight, 99% for good looks and intelligence.

The pediatrician then (after looming at the two of them, then me) asked if my wife was a "big" woman! Glad Bridget wasn't there!

Here is Richmond's greatest superhero
Note the mask, the pillow shield, the cape, the green arm bands, the spatula sword in his pants. I am not sure what function the hanger serves, perhaps it is a bow?

That is my boy!

Dora had a donut for breakfast. Pink, no sprinkles. She told me she was all done!!!

I still see some frosting!

Happy St Patricks day!

Morning events

After a night of the baby pooping through her pajamas, Dora wetting the bed after a nightmare, we woke to the following:
Eli buck naked holding a gallon of hand soap and lathering up. Dora was standing on the bathroom counter and "scrubbing the mirror" with a toothbrush and hand soap.

What are we doing wrong?
