First covid beach trip

So we had a lot of fun planned this summer. We had a trip to Hawaii lined up and Galveston, then COVID hit and our plans got cancelled, finally the world started to open back up and we had a chance to go to Galveston for Beach social distancing, I did not take my camera but it was fun to have my kids big enough that we did not need to bring a crib for sammy. Look at his little bed on the floor, he was so excited to get to sleep on the floor!

Emmy and Tessa are best friends, They used to be like cats and cats: bitter enemies. Now they are like Cats and Cats: best friends.

sammy is a flipper and a flopper funny guy rolled under the bed at the hotel

I made bridget a flower plot. WIth Max the Dung Beetle and his Mom

Fun times at the Baker estates

Summer has been fun at home. Sammy gives mom the squeezes. This is the one thing that fills moms heart with joy. Whenever she has a rough day "Sammy Squeezes" is all it takes. Eventually sammy starts to fidget and he eventually crawls away from it. He has been a good sport but is getting almost too big..... poor Bridget.

In VIctoria there is a burrito place that makes this Monstor, It is only 10.75. It is so good, I brought eli one, He ate it for like the weekend.

We have become chicken Farmers in the Baker home, Of the many we had in December four remain, we nursed Alpha back from a dog bite that nearly took her head off, she is now my favorite chicken. After Alpha the rest are just chickens. We got 10 more and have lost 3, so now we are down to 11, i built a second chicken coop just in time to order 8 more. I think that qualifies us for "agriculture exemption"

Here is Alpha before she got better, notice the medication on her neck. we had to feed her by hand until her strength improved.

Here is the Sam Pants in horse shoes, what a funny kid.

I took sammy for a ride in my Chevy. I love this little guy.

Bridget on a trail ride with the big kids. We have spent a long time on the trails this summer

Zoom Zoom!

We also got bunnies for the girls this Covid, They are thick as thieves. They were billed as two male rabbits. Then one started to "jump on the otherone" and we ended up getting them fixed.

i build the rabbit cage. its pretty crappy. It fits in with the mess that is Tessa's room

I love those little girls. So funny.
