Temple Texas

One really fun thing about the Mini Cooper is road trips. Yesterday, Emmy and I took a trip to visit Anthony James, my buddy from medical school.

We went to our favorite restaurant.

Bad parenting on Wednesday
Eli: Dad, when is mom getting back with dinner?
Me: I don't know Eli but I am sure crying is going to speed her up.
Eli: Dad you always say that, and it never works!
Me: Then why do you do it do much?

Eli: hey dad did you know you can eat or drink toothpaste?
Me: Huh?
Eli: Yeah, you can eat it or mix it in a cup with water, then it is like juice. And you have different flavors, like mint!

Dora: Dad, my new crocs smell like Gymboree!

We did build a boat together. He even blew it across the table.








The kids also helped me build a fence on Saturday!

Kids, kittens, boots for mittens

My kids were so excited to find a litter of kittens at the Stuckey's. They call it a litter because of the mess infants make. Frankly, I have a litter of kids.

Here are both litters playing, Kanga was there too!

Emmy

Well, that is a new one.
I went to get Emmy up from her nap. I noted a wet spot on the sheet. Being curious, I tried to find the source. Bottle ok, check. Not vomit, check. Not poo, check.
I picked Emmy up. And that is when I noticed she took her pants and diaper off.



I found the dry diaper in the crib, can I reuse it?

Saturday fun

Eli: I am in kindergarten
Dora: I am in priesthood

Eli: Dad look at how loose my tooth is (at 7am). I guess I can only drink milkshakes
Me: you can't have milkshakes for breakfast.
(Later on)
Eli:(crying) I can't find my tooth! It's gone and now the tooth fairy won't give me money! Can you help me look for it??
Me: Well, you probably ate it so I don't really want to look for it. Let's just write the tooth fairy a note to say what happened.
Eli: Do I still get money?



The tooth next to the hole is the one he hit on jungle gym and is dead.



We took Emmy to Don and Carla's. Kanga is super fast!!!

Inside Brian's car is this latch.
Eli asked, "does that mean you can run out of the trunk real fast?"
