These are some pictures from Bridget's phone in the trip. This was a really neat experience. In really glad we got to do this. What's more fun us that I got to go with my wife! And buddy!

Edinburgh castle next to the kings of Scotland. I fit in well.

Castle Leslie. This place was awesome.

Two little love birds sitting in a tree... K I S S I N G. This was at Castle Leslie.

Dawn at Castle Dumbarton. It was not yet open.

This place is Bumratty! What a funny name, this is a must see if you have kids.

This castle is outside Fort Williams in Scotland.

King John's Castle in Limerick.

King John's Castle is awesome. The blacksmith totally lets you wear helmets and swords. Bridget looks really cute.

Top if King John's is really pretty.

Blarney Castle. This is really a neat castle. It is well preserved, and had lots of secret passages.

Blarney Stone is at the end here.

Top looking down at Castle Blarney.

Blarney Castle looking up.

Dinner in Cork. This place was awesome. Really good food. Really good desserts.

Cahil Castle. This was a neatly restored castle too. Half rooms were white walked and had restored floors and ceilings.

Storming the castle.

Rock of Cashel

Last hotel in Dublin. Castle Hotel was nice but not a castle.

Ireland and Scotland

Here was our Ireland trip. It was a lot of fun. I am happy with what we did and saw on the trip! I feel like we got a good taste of the country.

Here is our Scotland map.

We head to airport in an hour. I can't wait to see my kids again. Eli and Dora would have had a blast here. Of course the gift shops would have been their favorite places. Someday i'll bring them back. I think Eli needs to be a bit older. Dora too. I saw several European dads out on holiday with their young kids and it gave me hope.
In 18 hours I get to play with the kids!
When we got back the kids showed us the map they made to guess where we were! Pretty cool huh!

Last night in Dublin

We are in Castle Hotel. It was hard to find. But really pretty cool.

I really miss my kids. I'm excited to see them tomorrow.

Rock of Cashul

Rock of Cashul. This was the place that St Patrick baptized the first Gaelic kings. It then became a castle. Then in 1100s it became a castle. It is really neat and reminds me of St Peters cathedral in Rome.

This was built 900 years ago. Think on that.

Castle Cahil

Castle Cahill

This was an awesome castle. One of my favorites. I wished I had taken more. It was sieged, not attacked, so it is still in good shape and halfway restored. You could see what it was like to live in a castle back in the day and roof still attached.

Here is what it looked like back in the day. Pretty impossible to attack. So siege it was! Much easier. This is a neat.

I'm gonna miss this place.
