Saturday Fun

Lupe Tortilla for lunchilla!

After lunch we came back for swimming and bubbles with uncle Brian.

We got crickets for the lizards and ice cream at Marble Slab.

Skeet Shooting

I got to go skeet shooting on Friday! Brian and Sam came too it was really really fun.

Happiness is a Warm Gun. Since its shotguns, Joe Biden can't get mad!

It was really fun.

When Cats are away the mice like to play!

Bridget is in New York at a writers conference. I'm not sure if it is "writers" or "writer's" or "writers'". Perhaps I should have gone and left her with all four kids! Ha. I'm funny!

We went to All Star Grill with the kids and Emma.

Here we are swimming at pool.

Saturday morning donuts!!!

Here I am indoctrinating my kids into the great outdoors!!

We are practicing our casting and reeling!

Eli is quite the fisher!

Bowling for Soup

Actually bowling for Gyros!

The new bowling alley and movie theater opened this week. It is awesome! We went bowling as a family with Uncle Brian. Bridget won! We aren't very good. When I realized he might not win, he came and gave pointers to Brian and I.
"Throw hard and aim for the middle." And "Aim for the one you missed!" Pretty sound advice. Because he "Coached" us he added our points to his so that he could win.

Final score:
Dora 47
Brian 87
Bridget 104
Whitney 103
Eli (103+87+62) 252!

Good job Eli!

Tender mercies

I have been feeling very blessed. I love my kids. We have been doing lots of fun things every night Eli gets home from school. Pool. Cotton candy. Chickens. It is really fun to have such a close family! I love Eli, Dora, Emmy, and Amethyst. So much to be grateful for.
Eli and Dora had parts in primary program. Dora gave the prayer and didn't want adult help. She wanted Eli! He got up and whispered in her ear what to pray for.
Eli then had a talk. Bridget wrote Eli's talk. He got up to podium, in front of a whole junior primary, and read a talk. It was really cute to see him read! The primary teachers were impressed, jr primary kids can't read! Eli is awesome! It was very sweet. Several parents came to say how impressed they were.
Also I bought a truck. Here see Brock and I. Twins.

My garage. Thanks to my dad for helping organize.

Free range chicken.

Pool party and Hot Dog lunch.

Emmy is so big now.

We went out to All Star Grill Saturday night. I got crawfish. Mainly because I was missing uncle Sherri and my Louisiana relatives.

Eli added squeeze cheese to his Tuna Sandwich. Yum

At church.

Bridget found a cotton candy machine for sale. I've always believed my kids need more sugar.
