Grateful

I'm sitting here on side of pool watching Eli and Dora swim and listening to them play. I can also hear the baby in the other room giggling as she grabs stuff and puts it in her mouth. I feel a lot of gratitude for my wife and to my wife for her support and strength. I also feel a lot of the tender mercies that Elder Bednar speaks of.

I am very grateful for eternal families right now. I am grateful for a savior. I am very grateful for wife who loves me.

I just read Mosiah, about service charity and redemption. I hope to be worthy of all three.

Cousin Megan

Megan is here for the summer. We had our first adventure. We went to the USS Texas. It was built in 1912 served in WWI and WWII and you can tour the whole thing and run the cannons. Really cool to run guns up and down and side to side. Eli and Dora had a ball.

There were dolphins jumping in front of barge.

Dolphin watching!

This is the Texas monument. Kinda cool. Kids were getting grumpy so we went home.

I took Emmy into mustang to rev the engine a bit. I thought her reaction was awesome

Road Trip

So much fun. I love road trips. We passed a Ferrari in a minivan. We also passed an MG, a Chevelle, a Bel-Air, and couple other neat cars. I saw a Studebaker but couldn't pull my phone out in time.

We stopped at a gift shop before we left. The kids got to watch a shark feeding in the store.

We also passed some blue angels.

We also stopped at the Tiger Truck Stop. I love Louisiana.

We are glad to be home.

Last day in Florida.

And we didn't get burned!! I buried Dora two or three times. Eventually, Emmy wanted to be buried too. We had fun. Brian came too. Emma and Brian made watching kids easy. Eli is a really good snorkeler. Dora is great at finding sea shells. Emmy was really good at making snout.

Best Beach Day Yet

We found a fun beach this morning. Bridget and Eli spent the morning looking for sea shells. Dora, Emmy and I dug a huge hole in the sand to play in.

Look at their haul!

Panama City

We spent every morning playing in the sand until it got too hot or too crowded. Our favorite activity was catching hermit crabs and watching them wrestle. Dora found a starfish and Eli caught it. It was pretty cool. Bridget didn't believe it was a starfish until it started to move on the shovel.

We also found these little inch long sand crabs and they proved very hard to see. And much harder to catch. Bridget found one and I caught it for her at small personal sacrifice: I got pinched. It was very fun. Tomorrow we are headed for the big wave beach with lots of white sand.

My sandcastle with a giant standing next to it

Starfish

I found this in parking lot!!!

Just kidding it was on my windshield.

I took kids to dipping dots to give Bridget and Emma a break.

Here is dinner at the Hognose Snapper. Great food, whiny kids!
