Swimming, bakery, dart wars, and bubble bath. Fun day.

Found this in Dora's room.

Popcorn and Kangaroo.

If only

If only kangaroos were the size of horses! As in this artists rendition.

They both seem so happy. I can see pros and cons to on top or in pouch!

Which would you choose?

Saturday morning fun

We are headed to the bakery in a few minutes. Emmy was chasing the wallaby around the entertainment room. It was funny to watch. Now she is climbing up and down on the couch

Just before the wallaby peed on the couch. Glad. It. Was. Leather.

My tiny whiny.

Whit's Wonderful Wallaby

Shortly after this she pooped on me. Still not grosser than a baby pooping on you.

The one store

The one store: to rule them all and in the darkness bind them.

I am here at 1pm to pick up an Ambien prescription. While waiting, I walked around to get stuff for dinner.

I feel my relationship with Wal-Mart is like Gollum and the ring: he both hates it and loves it (much as he hates and loves himself). I mean, I can get ammo and sewing supplies at the same place I can get veggies.

If you can get help it is awesome. Prices are cheap. But so is quality.

I also find the people interesting. There is a stoner checking out protien shakes and he only weighs buck fifty. One guy is looking at diet aids with several bags chips and bottles if soda in his cart.

It is also interesting that Slim fast is next to whey powder weight gainer. 5hr energy across from sleep aids. Candy is next to the diabetic supplies.

I guess they know their target.

It amazes me what you can get in one stop shopping. But at the same time, if you only need Ambien, and you walk away with hurricane supplies, 12 gauge ammo, flashlights, salsa, and a plastic crate, you may have a problem.

Flotation pictorial instructions

These are the warnings on our pool toy.

They make next to no sense.

Top left: reading is nice
Middle top: kids always win
Top right: this will hold 40 kg of ink
Bottom left: swimming in a pool of acid will dissolve your legs.
Bottom middle: not for international travel.
Bottom right: cell phone reception is better on the right or left.

Bottom left: no nothing is allowed. Or no snow allowed
Center left: not for onion people.
Center right: not protective against death rays.
Right: no pole vaulting.

Just like her mom

I wanted her to choose Swamp People or Poirot.

Bridget wanted "if you only knew!"

All kidding aside, Emmy found the remote and started pointing it at tv turned everything on!

These are my kids.

wallaby q&a

Q: What is it like having a baby wallaby?
A: Pretty neat. Really, unlike kids they mostly sleep, bounce around without messing anything up, then sleep again.

Q: What do they look like?
A: Rat/Bunny Hybrid but cuter and cuddlier than both.

Q: What is the weirdest thing about Wallabies?
A: Their name. That and the observation that their poo and food look and smell nearly identical. It is almost as if it goes through their system undigested... More on that later, I am going to try feeding grass to see what happens.

Q: What do the kids think?
A: They love it, they bounce all over the place like little kangaroos too! It would be cute if I weren't afraid for the poor little thing. Dora is cute but has space issues. I am sure in a few months it will be able to escape their "love"

Q: What are you doing blogging at 2:30 am?
A: Oh, I just fed and pooped the little gal. Yeah, you read that right only I pooped and peed it first then fed it, then it pooped and peed on its own.

Way better than a dog! So quiet, so happy, so not spastic.

Fun times

Before

After
(Note the liver shot!)

This is the key to my old motorcycle. I paid $175 for it. The engine was seized. We fixed the carburetor, brakes, clutch link, flex capacitor, and hyperdrive. Part of me misses it. Part of me is scared that I ever got on it. Nonetheless, it made me happy to find it. Good memories of working on it with golden.

Here is my birthday cake! It was delicious! 35 years old
