We were pretty jet lagged and ended up sleeping in. By the time we got out we decided to eat by the attractions. This is St Stephens church. We found a pastry shop around the corner with a waiting staff that was as chaotic and disorganized as a hen house. But. The pastries were good.
I love old churches. We didn't get a chance to hike the tower. Maybe next time.
I thought this was really sweet. Look at crosswalk sign. Notice the couple holding hands and the green heart.
This is s fountain in front of the Hofburg Palace apartments and Spanish Riding School.
The silver museum had all the table wear and porcelain and China dating back to the 1600s. This was a Chinese piece made in 1730. Kinda cool.
Read this. It's describing a duck juicer. That's right DUCK JUICE.
Interesting. I wanted to ask for a demonstration. Also, why duck. Why not chickens. Or better yet FRUIT.
The queens bed in the palace.
Ferrari makes shoes?
The wouldn't let us take too many pictures of the Lipizaner Stalions. But if you look close in this panorama one poked his head in.
Here is their actual tac room.
This arena dates back to 1735. That's right, it's older than the U.S. The Soanush Riding School is 450 years old this year and is passed on my oral traditions. No writing. Trainers train horses and apprentices.
Chandler in a stable.
These buggies are everywhere. Kinda cool.
This is the equivalent of garage ceiling. Maybe I should paint mine to look like this done.
View from front of palace.
Next we went to Schoburn Palace. Here is my attempt at pretty.
Bam! Majesty and stuff.
They wouldn't let us take pictures inside.
A snack in the park.
This is a normal street in the business district. Kinda awesome.
Some pics from inside.
Stain Glass ceiling.
On our walk back to the metro. I forgot what church this was.
