Goodriche Castle and Wales day

Eli and Dora have never been to a real castle. To this point. They had seen stonehenge. Bath. And the Abbey at Glastonbury. Today would be a castles and ruins day. We went to good rich castle on the border of Wales and England. The central tower you see was from 1150 or so the rest finished over the. Next 100 years. This was a pretty big and impressive place and it was free for us to go because we bout an "Overseas visitor English Heritage" pass. Eli explored all over this place and took 600 pictures. Dora loved it too. Thai castle had enough ruin and enough still intact to fill with mystery and wonder. This castle had a full functioning moat. A drawbridge. A port cullis and was on top of a Baren hill. It would have been tough to attack.

Castle Dab. Some fad thing.
Kiss Dab.        I could have taken more pictures but everywhere I turned around Eli and Dora had their iPads out snapping photos.
