Orange Leaf

I yelled at the kids last night. To make it up to them, I am saying sorry at Orange Leaf.

Kids, kittens, boots for mittens

My kids were so excited to find a litter of kittens at the Stuckey's. They call it a litter because of the mess infants make. Frankly, I have a litter of kids.

Here are both litters playing, Kanga was there too!

Kanga was there too and she was interested in the kittens periodically as well.

Here is Emmy playing with Dora's boots!

Emmy

Well, that is a new one.
I went to get Emmy up from her nap. I noted a wet spot on the sheet. Being curious, I tried to find the source. Bottle ok, check. Not vomit, check. Not poo, check.
I picked Emmy up. And that is when I noticed she took her pants and diaper off.

I found the dry diaper in the crib, can I reuse it?

Saturday fun

Conversation out here:
Eli: I am in kindergarten
Dora: I am in priesthood
-/---------
Eli: Dad look at how loose my tooth is (at 7am). I guess I can only drink milkshakes
Me: you can't have milkshakes for breakfast.
(Later on)
Eli:(crying) I can't find my tooth! It's gone and now the tooth fairy won't give me money! Can you help me look for it??
Me: Well, you probably ate it so I don't really want to look for it. Let's just write the tooth fairy a note to say what happened.
Eli: Do I still get money?

The tooth next to the hole is the one he hit on jungle gym and is dead.

We took Emmy to Don and Carla's. Kanga is super fast!!!

YouTube Video

Inside Brian's car is this latch.
Eli asked, "does that mean you can run out of the trunk real fast?"

Thousand words

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So I keep this blog as a journal. Then I don't have to type!

A humming bird got caught in our garage. After trying to "shoo" it out, I finally caught it. Rather than taking a picture of the bird, I let it go and took a picture of the feathers.

Me and Emmy playing games! She was crawling all over!

Dora grew! Sprouting like a weed!

This is an Eliora monster... Armless not Harmless!

I hurt my back!

Here is a cotton field!

Saturday Fun

Best friends.

Eli made a car for a pregnant Bridget.

My friend

Hugging me. She must not feel well.

We played my own version of duck hunt. They run back and forth and I shoot them.

Funny.

I had some on target shots.

We have had a lot of fun playing! Emma just came over and now kids are having a blast.
I am back on the treadmill. Ran 5.4 miles today. Trying to stay in shape. Or get back in shape. Or get a shape.
Good day!

Here are some of our nocturnal friends.

Tree frog on our window.

We had four lizards on our window.
