Oregon coast family trip

This summer we headed to the Oregon coast for a family reunion. We loaded onto an airplane and landed in Medford. Then we rented a van and headed Down to the redwoods of Northern California.

We then went to Crescent city and stayed in a crappy hotel. There was a crappy Aquarium too. We used to take Eli and Dora when we lived there.

The next morning we went up to Bandon to the Wildlife safari. When Eli and Dora were young we used to take them to pet the baby tigers.

This poor llama did not know that Eli ate his relatives in Peru this summer.

Here they are petting a bear.

Here is a baby lynx or something.

Baby cheetah?

We next headed to Florence and met the rest of the cousins. But first we found an old
Fashioned A&W Root Beer stand.

The next day we went to the beach with the cousins.

Then to a tide pool.

All the other cousins stayed in a big house on the river. We called it the Palace. They had a great time destroying that place.

On our way back to Medford we stopped at the wildlife park in Winston Oregon. If you ever get the chance this place is pretty cool
Too.

We have a thing for one eyed animals in our house. We had Hope the chicken loose an eye to a possum. We nurses it back to health and it was our best friend.

On the way to Crater Lake we found snow. The kids were way more excited than they should have been.

Crater lake is fed by snow melt and rain. And that is the same amount it evaporates each year. So that is kinda neat.
