So here we are on debarkation say. Amethyst did not get to get on board. She did not have a birth certificate. So Bridget did not get to come either. She had to stay at home. But my mom and dad and Carla got to come. Carla brought Tenessa A friend. So me and two grandmas and a grandpa and three kids got on a boat and headed off for fun. Missing mom.
See Dora hiding!
Here we are on the golf course sailing out of Galveston. We had fun golfing every day.
Here was our room. Mom and Tessa should have come too. As it was the room was huge for the two of us. Emmy had fun with the towel animals. She loved the dog the most because it reminded her of Foxy.
Sunset day 1. Galveston in the back drop.
Dinner night one with Emmy!
Evening celebration toast! I love those two so much! And my mom!
Dora had so much fun. Emmy only ate chicken nuggets. Dora loved to eat dinner!
We went to a kids parade and show. Really cute.
We went to hot tub something fun about being in a boat in a pool. It rocks you back and forth.
This was our dinner on formal night I dressed the girls. Thought I did a good job. They were so happy to have dinner with the grandparents.
Dora has such a pretty smile except when she is told to smile!
My roommate for the cruise!
Elephant!
She fell asleep every night within 5 minutes. She was pretty good. But very tired every night!
After our dolphin swim we had our fill on chicken nuggets and Mexican food.
This was the dolphin swim. I couldn't take a camera into tanks. We all got to kiss a dolphin ride on him and dance with him. His name was GoldenBoy. He was 6 years old. Born on Christmas and was a product if artificial insemenation. The first from what the guide said.
We hiked back to the boat. These things are Huge!
Eli got really good at making ice cream cones!
Dora and Emmy got hats in Uxmal ruins. Really beat experience!
Uxmal. I carried Emmy most of the day until Carla talked her into being a billy goat and climbing in things.
They rounded their corners for hurricane protection.
This was the first iguana we saw. We ended up seeing dozens of them.
These are the rain gods they prayed to.
See the elephant nose?
This stone tablet tells of the start of the Mayans 600 years before Christ. They think they came from the Aztecs... Interesting time frame...
My big explorer hiked up there by himself.
The feathered serpent and the white bearded God.
We hiked to the top of this temple. Eli and Dora couldn't be stopped. Dora was scared to go down. Eli may give up on geology to be an archeologist now!
Looks way worse from top.
They kept pigeons here.
Eli saw a snake. Dora wanted to see but it was gone.
This was the governors palace.
Eli found this carved rock.
Dora found this rock. It is the elephant sprinkler god nose.
Afterward we found this lady teaching us to make tortillas the old way she had a little stove abd cooked over fire.
Eli eating another ice cream cone looking over the water. Love this little man.
Chess! Eli played Dora. Fun game till Emmy started putting pieces back on the board.
When we got back. My parents taught farming at Eli's school.
