Picnic In the park

So I took the kids for a picnic in the park. We went to Rosenburg there is a park on the Brazos river that has play grounds and looked so fun!

We got there and unpacked, then realized, they also have a ton of fireants, hornets, and overgrowth. I packed the 4 kids and dog back in the car and went to the Pecan Grove.

So, Emmy and I went to Eli's school for lunch too. He was pretty surprised. There was lots of noise.





On the chicken front, this is my favorite chicken. She isn't too smart. She sleeps up on fence, even in the rain. We have to put her in the coop every night!

Day off

This is the first day off I have had in a while.
Emmy climbed on my lap and said "I love your pokeys daddy!" And rubbed my cheek stubble.






Amethyst and foxy are best friends.

Activity.

So Eli and Dora said to me "Dad, we are bored!"

I said, "I got an idea!" We grabbed a potato.

We went to the garage and grabbed two buckets, filled half with dirt. One bucket for Eli, one for Dora.

We cut potato in half. Planted in a bucket. Then watered.

Kids have been watering them every day or so.

We finally have leaves!

Chicken update

They are all still chickens. So much fun. Cute pets.

My puffin muffin is 5

I can't believe Dora is growing up! She's 5!!!
We had a big party with a balloon lady. We also took food to Dora's school. They had fun. Chic-fil-A had good nuggets and waffle fries.






She is such a good sister.

Valentine's Day

So, Carla watched the kids so that Bridget and I could have a weekend away. It was really fun. We left Friday morning and went to Austin and had lunch with Stephen, one if Bridget's friends from her time as a fancy pants lawyer. We visited her old firm.

We didn't get pictures. After that I took Bridget shopping. She got some clothes. I got a badly needed twix bar.

We then went to dinner at the melting pot with Anthony and Elizabeth, by best friends in medical school.




We got up and went to Trudy's for breakfast. Bridget and I went on our first date to Trudy's in Nov of 2005.
