More fun without the sun

So after going to the waterfall we all loaded up and went to the Harlem Globetrotters. The kids had a blast. So much fun.
Look at that smile.
On the way home we went over Snoqualmie Pass. We stopped at this gas station. Look at that snow.
The next day we got up real early to see all the fun animals. Look at us dressed up warm in Aunt Cassidy's clothes.
All had fun on the pony and playing with coats.
Grandpa let them play with the bunny.
We went to the sand dunes and Eli and the small girls played in the sand. Dora and bridge were home throwing up. Megan infected us.

Washington. Washing-fun

We got up early on Valentine's Day. Left at 7 am. Got to airport and flew to Dallas then Seattle. Then got a rental. All in all it was 11 hours. Then Bridget drive the two babies to Cassidy's.
Airplane fun.
The babies wanted to sit by mommy. I'm not sure mommy was ok with it.
We got up in the morning and went to Snoqualmie Falls. It was drizzling. But most the water was coming up from the falls.
Kids love their jackets.
Panorama
Kids exploring were having a blast
Misty misty.
We hiked the mile to the bottom of the falls.
There was a lot of mist.
We were wet but had fun

Fun times

So. We have had a difficult time with these two. It was neat to see them sweet on each other. Honestly., Tessa was probably running a fever.
So we raised some butterflies. Here we are releasing them.
We went to marble slab as a family. Bubble gum and gummy bears sound like they would taste good but the ice cream turns them to rocks. Or an Epoxy like goo.
Kids spend almost every day on the tramp. They made a heart for mommy.
Went out to Indian for dinner. Kids were little craps.
But Eli was good.

Leppers

I wanted to show a thank you that I got from a patient. This woman was having Chest pain and I noticed a very subtle change on her EKG. I told her it would be ok but we needed to run more tests. The next day while in the hospital she had a stress test then had to have cardiac bipass. Im not sure if the spirit told me or if the years of practicing medicine told me what to do. In any case I attribute my ability to have passed medicine to Devine assistance. She is now doing fine and as a thank you this was given to me.
Anatomically correct heart cookies. She also gave this thank you note.
I've taken care of people for almost 10 years now. I'm sure I've made mistakes. Or missed things. But in that time I have probably seen 5000 patient encounters. I have received 3 books, 4 thank you cards, and one plate of homemade bow pork ribs.

I get paid to take care of people. That is my reward. The savior didn't. He healed a lot of people. There is an account of 10 leppers. One returned. My goal in life is now to be the one lepper. This lady has so much joy. I have seen her dozens of times and she proudly shoes her heart scar. Her life is filled with joy because of gratitude. Gratitude benifits the person who has it. Not the recipient.

That was the lesson I learned today
