Cruise day 4

We got up, I went running, and then we ate breakfast. Our goal for today was to swim w dolphins 

We did but couldn't afford pictures and they wouldn't allow cameras.

Cruise day two

Technically, yesterday was day one. From Sunday morning till 10pm Monday night I got 3 hours of sleep. Buy yesterday was day one. Today was day two. We spent last night eating and catching up with the Banzafs and with the Polsons. We all lived in Hershey Pennsylvania for  a while. It was fun to get reacquainted. I found a frozen yogurt machine and am trying to replenish my yogurt deficiency. Tonight I am going to replenish my lobster and steak deficiency. I made short work of some tacos and burritos as well. 

Bridget and I both got up and exercised  Bridget did 7 miles on an elliptical. Those miles are more round than regular miles. I ran 5.5. Tomorrow goal is 6.5 before a day of dune buggies!

We came back to our room and found a towel animal. 

Look at this breakfast. This cute little girl ordered fruit loop French toast! There is French toast under all that!!

Headed down to Mexico on the same cruise that broke down in the gulf! Carnival Triumph!

Conference fun

 I feel like herding cats. Constant chaos, constant noise, constant mess. 

Nonetheless here we are.

Before conference I was looking for my cuff links. I only found one. But I did find lots of treasures. 

Here is a pocket watch I have had for over 20 years. Haven brought this back from Russia. It was supposed to be made in CCCP. 

Here is my motorcycle key. It was a 1981 Kawasaki KZ440. Golden and I got it running 

Here are some rings. 

Liberty made me the CTR ring in high school. I think she made it 10-12 years ago. 

The other ring I got in Paris France. Bridget and I were heading to the Louvre. A 20 something man dropped it and pretended to find it. He said "Sir you dropped this."

"Not mine," I said.

"Look it's real gold"

"Keep it, it's not mine"

"I can't I just got baptized," he said lighting up a cigarette, "I'm a good person now and don't steal"

"Huh" I said.

"You keep it." He tossed the ring to me and started to walk off.

After 3 steps he turned around, "I'm hungry can I have a few euros for a sandwich?"

I pulled out a snickers and granola bar and handed them with a smile. 

"Can I please have money instead?"

All I had was $0.54.

"This is all I have, sorry."

Discouraged, he took the snickers and 54 cents and left mumbling something in French. 

Saturday fun!

We played today! Fun in the sun with Eli. He hit the target 5/6 times today. That is pretty good!
